Vitamin E

What it actually is

A fat-soluble antioxidant vitamin, present naturally in the seeds, nuts and oils in the formula as well as being added.

What it does in the body

Protects cell membranes from oxidative damage — it is one of the body's front-line antioxidants — and contributes to normal immune function.

Where else to get it

Sunflower and groundnut oil, almonds, sunflower seeds, wheat germ.

In the formula

Because it is fat-soluble, it is absorbed better when taken with a meal containing some fat. The coconut milk in the formula helps here.

KABO does not publish a milligram-by-milligram breakdown of every micronutrient, so this page describes what the ingredient is and what it is needed for rather than how much of it a serving contains. The full ingredient list is printed on every pack and set out at kabo.co.in/pages/ingredients. This is general nutrition information, not medical advice — if you are pregnant, managing a medical condition or taking medication, talk to your doctor before changing what you take.
