Pantothenic Acid

What it actually is

Vitamin B5. The name comes from the Greek for 'from everywhere', because it is present in a very wide range of foods.

What it does in the body

Needed to release energy from food and for the synthesis of certain hormones and neurotransmitters.

Where else to get it

Nearly everything — pulses, whole grains, eggs, mushrooms, avocado.

In the formula

Deficiency is genuinely rare in people eating a varied diet, which is why you hear about it far less than the other B vitamins.

KABO does not publish a milligram-by-milligram breakdown of every micronutrient, so this page describes what the ingredient is and what it is needed for rather than how much of it a serving contains. The full ingredient list is printed on every pack and set out at kabo.co.in/pages/ingredients. This is general nutrition information, not medical advice — if you are pregnant, managing a medical condition or taking medication, talk to your doctor before changing what you take.
