How KABO describes it“Vitamin C booster for immunity and collagen”
Green Pepper

What it actually is

Dried capsicum. Gram for gram, peppers hold more vitamin C than citrus fruit does.

What it does in the body

Vitamin C is needed to synthesise collagen, supports normal immune function, and — usefully in a formula like this — improves the absorption of plant iron eaten alongside it.

Where else to get it

Shimla mirch, amla (which is exceptional), guava, citrus. Amla in particular is one of the richest sources on earth.

In the formula

The vitamin C here works with the iron in spinach.

KABO does not publish a milligram-by-milligram breakdown of every micronutrient, so this page describes what the ingredient is and what it is needed for rather than how much of it a serving contains. The full ingredient list is printed on every pack and set out at kabo.co.in/pages/ingredients.
