How KABO describes it“Antioxidant-rich superfruit for immune support and vitality”
Goji Berry

What it actually is

The dried orange-red fruit of Lycium barbarum, used in Chinese cooking and medicine for centuries and sold in India mostly as an imported dry fruit.

What it does in the body

Carries carotenoids — notably zeaxanthin, which the eye concentrates in the macula — plus vitamin C and fibre. As with most berries, the honest summary is that it is a nutritious fruit, not a supplement in fruit form.

Where else to get it

Any orange or red fruit gives you carotenoids: papaya, mango, and the humble carrot chief among them.

In the formula

One of the nine superfruits behind the antioxidant claim on the pack.

KABO does not publish a milligram-by-milligram breakdown of every micronutrient, so this page describes what the ingredient is and what it is needed for rather than how much of it a serving contains. The full ingredient list is printed on every pack and set out at kabo.co.in/pages/ingredients. This is general nutrition information, not medical advice — if you are pregnant, managing a medical condition or taking medication, talk to your doctor before changing what you take.
