How KABO describes it“Natural energy source with potassium for muscle and heart health”
Banana

What it actually is

Dried banana, which brings natural sweetness, a soft body to the texture, and potassium.

What it does in the body

Potassium is one of the electrolytes involved in muscle contraction and in the regulation of blood pressure, and most people fall short of the recommended intake. Banana also brings resistant starch, which behaves a little like fibre.

Where else to get it

The cheapest, most available fruit in the country. One medium banana is a meaningful amount of potassium.

In the formula

Doubles as a sweetener and a texture ingredient — part of why the shake does not need much added sugar.

KABO does not publish a milligram-by-milligram breakdown of every micronutrient, so this page describes what the ingredient is and what it is needed for rather than how much of it a serving contains. The full ingredient list is printed on every pack and set out at kabo.co.in/pages/ingredients.
