What these tests cannot tell you
Being honest about the limits matters as much as the tests:
- Heavy metals — lead, arsenic, cadmium. No home test detects these. Lab only.
- Pesticide residue — invisible to household methods.
- Protein content — you cannot verify a "25 g protein" claim in a kitchen. This needs lab assay.
- Microbial contamination — requires culture testing.
